Job summary

NHC HealthCare Milan is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Unit Manager RN. This role provides clinical leadership for the assigned nursing unit and supports nursing partners to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Current TN RN license required; bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited nursing program preferred. Eligible full-time hires may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a current multistate/compact license that permits practice in Tennessee.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or nursing leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversight for the assigned unit.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of individualized plans of care.
• Review changes in condition and ensure timely clinical follow-up.
• Coach, support, and provide direction to nursing partners on the unit.
• Monitor documentation, medication and treatment practices, and compliance with nursing standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, interdisciplinary team members, patients, residents, and families.
• Support staffing, workflow, quality improvement, infection prevention, and survey readiness activities.
• Promote a culture of compassionate care, teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.
