Job summary

NHC HealthCare Lewisburg is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Unit Manager RN. This role provides clinical leadership for an assigned nursing unit, supports nursing partners, and helps ensure high-quality, coordinated care for patients and residents.

The Unit Manager RN will oversee day-to-day clinical operations, coach staff, and collaborate with physicians and families to drive excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee or multi-state/compact license valid for TN.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or nursing leadership is preferred.
• Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversight for the assigned unit.
• Support implementation and monitoring of individualized plans of care.
• Review changes in condition and ensure timely clinical follow-up.
• Coach and direct nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor documentation, medications, and adherence to nursing standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, interdisciplinary team, patients, residents, and families.
• Support staffing, workflow, quality improvement, infection prevention, and survey readiness.
• Promote a culture of compassionate care, teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.

Position Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversight for the assigned unit.
