Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care within an assigned unit, ensuring positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction of patients, residents, families, and staff.
  • Lead, coordinate, and oversee nursing and patient/resident care operations for the assigned nursing unit.
  • Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, values, policies, and complies with all applicable standards, regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Manage human resources within the unit, including recruiting, orienting, assessing performance, minimizing overtime and agency use, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
