Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm is seeking a Unit Director to administer and oversee daily operations of a cluster of homes at a State Supported Living Center in San Antonio. You will manage residential services, coordinate staff, and ensure programs meet quality and regulatory standards.

The role requires leadership experience and familiarity with IDD services, with responsibility for crisis response and ongoing staff development. A bachelor’s degree is required, and telework is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required as part of initial screening.
• Two (2) years of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• At least one (1) year of experience leading, directing or managing multiple staff members.

Responsibilities

• Administers and oversees daily operations, programming and activities of a cluster of homes.
• Hires, develops, manages, schedules and supervises staff for assigned homes.
• Ensures quality care and compliance with state/federal laws and settlement agreements.
