SSC Services For Education is hiring a Unit Custodial Director in Prescott, AZ, to oversee the cleanliness, sanitation, and security of assigned buildings. You will coordinate janitorial staff, supervise supervisors and hourly workers, and ensure high customer satisfaction through quality standards while maintaining a safe environment.

The role requires coordinating duties, inspecting work, managing supplies and equipment, and communicating directives between management and staff.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• One to two years as supervisor in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer/client contact required.
• Strong work ethic and initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to motivate staff.
• Understanding of budgeting processes and awareness of profit and loss concepts.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates all work activities of janitorial personnel to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Supervises, directs, and develops supervisors and hourly staff.
• Assigns duties, inspects work, and investigates complaints; takes corrective action.
• Ensures equipment is maintained and supplies are stocked.
• Communicates directives between managers, occupants, and janitorial staff.
• Holds weekly staff reports and inspections; reviews task completion and future projects.
• Ensures buildings are secured after work and projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Reports budgetary issues and helps guide project completion.
