Job summary

SSC Services For Education is seeking a Unit Director to oversee the cleanliness, sanitation, and security of assigned buildings within a school district. You will coordinate janitorial activities, supervise supervisors and staff, and ensure high quality service while keeping safety and equity at the forefront.

You will train staff, manage inventories, and communicate directives between managers and on-site teams to deliver reliable facilities support.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising janitorial staff in a facilities environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate janitorial staff across shifts.
• Ensure high quality cleaning standards and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise, train, and develop supervisors and hourly staff.
• Monitor inventories and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure safety and budget compliance on projects.
