Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach seeks an RN Unit Coordinator for the Intermediate Care Unit. You will provide clinical leadership in nursing care, enhance safety and quality initiatives, and improve workflow while supporting staff development and exceptional patient service.

Full-time, rotating shifts with a strong focus on collaborative care and Gold Standard customer service within Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, a Magnet-designated facility known for orthopedics and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State Nursing License in good standing.
• 18 months nursing experience.
• BSN, MSN, or RN Doctorate from an accredited school.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

• Provide clinical leadership for nursing care in the department.

Hours/Shift

Full-time, Rotating

RN Unit Coordinators demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.

Minimum Requirements
