Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center is seeking an Unit Coordinator for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role is full-time with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule, guiding administrative tasks, patient and staff support, and data-driven reporting.

You will maintain spreadsheets, logs, and reports, and serve as a trusted right-hand to the Department Director and Clinical Team Manager to keep the team aligned and efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative operations for the PCU department.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain spreadsheets and logs; craft reports to turn numbers into insights.
• Support the Department Director and Clinical Team Manager to keep the team on track.
