University Health's Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking an enthusiastic Unit Coordinator for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This full-time role supports department administration, coordinates requests, and serves as the hub for staff, patients, and visitors.

You'll maintain logs and spreadsheets, generate reports, and assist the Department Director and Clinical Team Manager to keep operations running smoothly and accurately day by day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English; strong professional communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience as a unit clerk or in a medical support role is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or coursework is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative tasks across the Progressive Care Unit.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain and track logs and spreadsheets; prepare data reports.
• Support the Department Director and Clinical Team Manager as needed.
