Job summary

JLL is seeking a Union-based Stationary Engineer in Concord, CA to operate, maintain and repair building mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment and related infrastructure. The role requires union membership or willingness to join, plus strong knowledge of boilers, HVAC and building automation.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment room upkeep, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Understanding of boilers, HVAC systems and building automation.
• Ability to operate, maintain and repair building mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair boilers, HVAC equipment, pumps and valves.
• Maintain building automation systems for HVAC, lighting and control devices.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform preventive maintenance.
• Inventory control of parts and materials for building systems.
