Job summary

Scoular, a long‑standing leader in feed and food supply chains, seeks a Production Worker to support maintenance, operations, safety, and quality assurance in our processing facility. You will join a union after 30 days and work shifts including 1:00 AM–9:30 AM or 4:30 PM–1:00 AM.

You will perform preventive maintenance, handle equipment issues, and assist in organizing daily operations such as receiving and shipping with a forklift.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends.
• Overtime required during busy season (June–September).
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous manufacturing or processing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Able to work in a cool and humid environment for extended periods.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and upkeep tasks on production equipment and machinery.
• Participate in preventative maintenance inspections and observations for safety and function.
• Assist in regular maintenance to keep equipment in good repair.
• Ensure safe, efficient facility operations and address malfunctions promptly.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training to uphold quality standards.
• Support daily operations including receiving and shipping using forklift.
• Collaborate with teammates to clean equipment and monitor performance for efficiency.
