Job summary

Farmers Union Industries, LLC, a Long Prairie based plant operator on 3rd shift, seeks a skilled Operator to monitor processing lines, manage material handling, and maintain safety and quality. The role involves reading gauges, paperwork, and collaboration with maintenance teams in a multi-species operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in food/feed production is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges and SOPs.
• Must be able to operate forklifts and read data trends.

Responsibilities

• Observe processing equipment via computer monitors to ensure product specs are met.
• Read gauges to maintain proper temperature, humidity and pressure.
• Operate bobcats, forklifts, and yard trucks for material handling.
• Complete paperwork every two hours with observations and product.
• Follow SOPs and quality standards and assist maintenance when needed.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
