Job summary

Scoular is seeking a Production Worker to support maintenance, operations, safety, and quality in a unionized setting. The role requires weekend availability and includes shifts from 1:00 AM–9:30 AM or 4:30 PM–1:00 AM, with regular overtime during busy seasons.

Employees advance via annual wage increases and a pay progression after 6 months, with benefits through the union health plan after 30 days and pension funded by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and upkeep of production equipment and machinery.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Address equipment malfunctions promptly to keep operations running.
• Maintain food quality culture and facility cleanliness per standards.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training to ensure quality standards.
• Support daily operations including receiving and shipping products using forklift.
