CHS Inc. in Montana seeks a dependable Union Laborer to maintain a multi-level facility in Great Falls. You will perform cleaning, material handling, and general maintenance across five levels, with a daytime schedule and occasional overtime.

The role emphasizes safety and teamwork, with opportunities to assist other departments as needed. Competitive wages reflect a union environment; base pay is $23.07 per hour, with additional earnings possible under the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Production and/or Operations.
• Experience in Mill operations, manufacturing, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general labor duties throughout the plant, including material handling, general cleanup duties, and machine operation.
• Clean assigned areas: sweeping, shoveling, power washing and scraping. Clean up material spills.
• Prepare trucks and tank cars for loading, attach and/or detach flexible loading hoses.
• Assist department(s) where assigned, may include working shift work as needed.
• Perform general labor duties throughout the plant, including cleaning such as sweeping, shoveling, power washing, painting and scraping.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas; promote a strong safety culture.
• Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal and spill cleanup.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks on pumps, valves, loading arms.
• Inspect equipment for leaks or seeps in process equipment.
• Assist with unloading trucks/railcars and hose connections.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Identify and correct unsafe actions or conditions.
