The role supports union payroll across multiple states and jobsites, handling I-9 compliance, wage rates, and benefits contributions. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of payroll or accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, HR, or related field, or equivalent payroll experience.
• Proven experience processing union and non-union payroll.
• Experience in construction, service, or field operations payroll preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations (federal/state/local/union) and taxation.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and ownership mindset; Vista by Viewpoint a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage new hire setup and compliance including I-9.
• Process weekly union payroll across multiple states and jobsites.
• Administer union reporting and benefit contributions; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain union setups and wage rates in payroll system.
• Process bi-weekly staff payroll across multiple companies and states.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure payroll changes and audits.
