Job summary

PremiStar in Milwaukee seeks a Journeyman HVAC Technician to install and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including boilers, pumps, chillers, and hydronic components. This union role through Local 18 offers progression to Journeyperson or Foreman based on experience.

You will perform tests, inspect systems, read blueprints, and communicate with customers, while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with HVAC experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Commitment to safety procedures and working in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including boilers, pumps, chillers, and hydronic components.
• Test and analyze data to ensure proper operation and make customer recommendations.
• Inspect systems for compliance with plans and specifications and locate malfunctions.
• Record faults and time expended on work orders; communicate with customers.
