Job Responsibilities

Under the Supervision of a Foreman, the job entails being responsible for the overall maintenance of cemetery grounds and buildings. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Grass cutting, edge trimming, and mulching.
• Correctly laying out grave lots for burials.
• Installing memorials.

Job Requirements

• Individual must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Starting rate is $17.86 per hour. Union Position. Full Union rate after year.
• Full time - 40 hours per week. Occasionally, workload may require overtime.
• We offer an outstanding benefits package. After introductory period: Sick days, paid holidays and after a year paid vacation.
• Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance regulations.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must have valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience in operating a backhoe is helpful.
• Experience in driving tractors is preferred.
• Must wear personal protective equipment.
