Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership is seeking a friendly server assistant to support the dining team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This part-time, seasonal role requires you to help pre-buss, clear, and reset tables and assist servers with food and beverage requests during shifts, including running orders from the kitchen.

The position requires weekend and holiday availability, English proficiency, a CA Food Handler’s Card, and the ability to lift and move moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Pre-bussing, clearing and resetting tables throughout the shift.
• Assist the server with all food and beverage requests including running food orders from the kitchen.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and ensure stations, glassware, and table setups are ready for service.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $17.60

Hourly Wage: $17.60

Shift: 1st; must be available to work weekends and holidays

Position type: Part Time, Seasonal

Responsibilities:

• The server assistant is responsible for pre-bussing, clearing, and resetting tables throughout the shift.
• The server assistant will assist the server with all food and beverage requests including running food orders from the kitchen.
• Ensures station, glassware, and table set-ups are complete, replenished, and ready for service at the start of the shift and performs side duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage leadership team.
• Maintains proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.

Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and a flex schedule
• Must have CA Food Handler’s Card
• Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight.
