Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Unified Communications Technician to manage and support voice, messaging, fax, and collaboration platforms. You will handle day-to-day UC operations, service requests, and incident trouble calls in collaboration with IT and external carriers.

The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining UC hardware/software, supporting mobile devices, and ensuring integration with broader IT infrastructure. On-call duties are included in a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Information Technology experience (minimum).
• Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years IT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unified Communications Support: maintain UC hardware and software (e.g., Avaya VoIP, voicemail, mobile devices).
• Troubleshoot telephony platforms and coordinate with service providers.
• Support MS Teams Voice dialing and end user assistance.
• Inventory management of hardware and deployment.
• On-call support for UC environment on rotating schedule.
• Assist in new equipment installations and large move projects.
