Structured Communication Systems Inc. is hiring a Systems Engineer (Mitel MiVoice Business) to install, configure and support Unified Communications in Oregon or Washington.

The role requires strong networking, VoIP, and project management skills, with a focus on delivering reliable UC solutions for customers. The candidate should have a technical bachelor’s degree or 5–7 years of related IT experience, knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, ADTRAN and Mitel technologies, and be able to travel to client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 5–7 years of related IT networking/communications experience.
• Significant experience with networking tech: VLANs, Spanning-Tree, NAT, and IP technologies.
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with VoIP technologies (G.711, G.729, SIP, PRI).

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, configures, troubleshoots and manages Unified Communications solutions.
• Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software, or network issues; replaces defective components.
• Interfaces with end-users to design and implement UC solutions.
• Develops solution implementation plans and translates business requirements into specs.
• Prepares SOWs and provides project management support as needed.
• Communicates value proposition and supports pre-sales technical activities.
