Job summary

Employment Development Department in California is seeking an Employment Development Specialist I for the UI Center. Under close supervision, you will analyze program data, research and document findings, and support management in tracking budgets, benefits, and operating expenses to meet center goals.

The role involves developing and implementing UI Center improvement plans and designing tracking tools to measure progress toward program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for analytical, administrative, and technical functions critical to daily operations in the Unemployment Insurance (UI) environment.
• Acts as a program consultant, researching and analyzing program statistical data and documenting actions based on findings.
• Assists management in tracking budgets, benefits, and OE&E, and designs tools and processes to track, document, and measure progress toward goals.
• Coordinates the preparation and distribution of reports prepared by the UI Center and monitors office procurement processes.
