State of Ohio's Office of Unemployment Insurance Operations seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead the Adjudication Team. You will guide daily activities, train staff, and collaborate with executives to refine policies that enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, fostering teamwork, and representing the agency publicly. You will support budgeting efforts and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience as an Unemployment Insurance Supervisor.
• 36 months experience or training in government laws, rules, regulations, &/or procedures governing unemployment insurance and 12 months supervisory experience.
• Undergraduate core program in public or business administration, with related supervisory training or experience.

Responsabilidades

• Run day-to-day operations of the Adjudication Team.
• Provide clear, supportive leadership and feedback to supervisors and staff.
• Train the team on daily tasks as subject-matter expert.
• Collaborate with executives to improve policies and procedures.
• Develop practices to improve customer service and efficiency.
• Foster teamwork within and across teams.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Lead a possibly remote/hybrid/on-site team with consistent communication.
• Represent the agency at public speaking events and stakeholder meetings.
• Support budgeting and resolve operational issues for the UI Senior Manager.
