Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading underwriting training, coaching, and team development.
• Thorough knowledge of personal lines underwriting and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to underwrite personal lines per guidelines.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and underwriting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop team members by setting clear goals and expectations, providing regular performance feedback and coaching.
• Oversee onboarding, ongoing training, and quality assurance initiatives to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Coordinate implementation of underwriting programs and corporate initiatives with stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
• Develop and deliver underwriting training for underwriters, CSRs, and related departments to ensure consistency.
• Develop and administer QA programs, including audits and performance reviews to identify training needs and improvements.
