Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior UA Manager to lead underwriting associates, drive training and development, and improve processes for Financial Institutions and Public D&O teams. Hybrid work with offices in New York or Chicago is available.

You will oversee performance metrics, staff development, and cross-training to support multiple workflows, while maintaining strong client service and effective budget management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with underwriting, insurance operations, or market-facing roles.
• Strong data analysis and budgeting capabilities.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop Underwriting Associates across the territory.
• Provide support for talent development and upskilling nationwide.
• Ensure teams meet operational performance goals and adhere to standards.
• Build relationships across the business and lead huddles and meetings.
