Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Software Engineering Product Manager to lead AI-enabled post-issue servicing initiatives. You will bridge product strategy, engineering execution, and AI-DLC to deliver scalable, secure capabilities that improve speed and quality while reducing manual effort.

You will guide architecture, APIs, and delivery mechanics, mentor teams, and partner with senior leaders to shape investment decisions and drive measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in MIS, engineering, math, CS or equivalent.
• Six years of application suite management experience; 4+ years leading multiple tech teams.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, budgeting, forecasting, and roadmap development.

Responsibilities

• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Partner with leaders to ensure viable total cost of ownership and ongoing health of applications.
• Develop and implement application suite roadmaps considering business needs and security.
• Manage risk and support internal and external audits.
• Lead and coach a team; ensure delivery availability and resiliency.
