Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Product Owner to bridge Underwriting business teams and Technology, owning the vision and roadmap for underwriting capabilities across multiple lines. You will shape workflows, prioritise features, and drive delivery with cross-functional teams, using Now/Next/Later planning and AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with insurance platforms such as Solartis, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar platforms.
• 2–3 years of experience within E&S insurance, with a focus on underwriting strongly preferred.
• Experience working with engineering, architecture, data, and business teams to deliver technology solutions in Agile environments.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks required.
• Experience supporting workflow-driven, platform-based, or operational business solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own underwriting product backlog and roadmap across multiple product lines.
• Define requirements, acceptance criteria, and workflows for underwriting tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead iterative delivery with quick wins and foundational improvements for usability, governance, and performance.
• Apply modern product management practices and AI-assisted tools to accelerate backlog refinement and solution exploration.
