Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Underwriting Technician to support underwriting units across the policy lifecycle.

You will assist team members and underwriters with complex situations and help manage workload to maintain operational efficiency. You will handle tasks related to data entry, file maintenance, renewals, and timely processing while upholding high productivity and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in the insurance industry, preferably Commercial Underwriting.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all organizational levels.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage tasks related to the underwriting policy lifecycle, including data entry and file maintenance.
• Ensure the team meets productivity, quality, and timeliness standards.
• Process renewal information in the system.
• Review and maintain underwriting files to warrant a satisfactory file completion.
• Oversee the submission inbox daily and support clearing submissions.
• Maintain a customer service mentality for internal and external customers.
• Review and respond to complex situations in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
