Qualifications

• 6+ years of Property & Casualty underwriting experience.
• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Strong understanding of underwriting operations and risk evaluation.
• Experience analyzing underwriting data, performance metrics, and portfolio trends.
• Proven ability to lead teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage underwriting team workflows, productivity, and service standards.
• Coach, mentor, and develop underwriting staff through training and feedback.
• Conduct quality reviews and audits to ensure guideline adherence and risk appetite.
• Provide expert guidance on complex underwriting accounts, coverage and risk assessments.
• Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, process improvements, and tech enhancements.
• Support agency relationship management to strengthen partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
