Zurich North America invites students to apply for a Summer 2027 Underwriting Internship within our Underwriting organization. Under the guidance of experienced underwriters and mentors, you will contribute to real projects supporting business growth, client relationships, and risk management strategies.

Responsibilities include learning underwriting fundamentals, supporting financial reporting, preparing reports with underwriting and BI tools, assisting with pipeline management, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree and will be enrolled in Fall 2027.
• Two or more years of college coursework (rising Junior or Senior).
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn underwriting fundamentals through mentorship and hands-on training.
• Support business unit financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist with preparing financial and operational reports using underwriting and BI tools.
• Support pipeline management and underwriting operations activities.
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings.
• Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis.
