Job summary

Zurich is offering an Underwriting Internship for Summer 2027 in the U.S. The program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to global insurance operations. Interns will assist with financial reporting, pipeline management, client meetings, and account analysis under experienced mentors.

You will gain practical underwriting knowledge, work on meaningful projects, and grow within a leading global insurer with a focus on professional development and community impact.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Two or more years of college coursework (rising Junior or Senior)
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely

Responsibilities

• Learn underwriting fundamentals through mentorship and hands-on training.
• Support business unit financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist with preparing financial and operational reports using underwriting and business intelligence tools.
• Support pipeline management and underwriting operations activities.
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings.
• Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis.
• Gain exposure to customer, broker, and partner relationships within the insurance industry
