Zurich North America is offering an Underwriting Internship for Summer 2027. You will work with experienced underwriting professionals to contribute to real projects that support growth, risk management, and customer relationships.

Gain hands-on experience through mentorship, learn underwriting fundamentals, and participate in meetings with clients, brokers, and stakeholders. This paid internship provides exposure to a global leader in commercial insurance and future opportunities in the field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Enrollment in Fall 2027; rising Junior or Senior.
• Two or more years of college coursework.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Responsibilities

• Learn underwriting fundamentals through mentorship and hands‑on training.
• Support business unit financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist with preparing financial and operational reports using underwriting and business intelligence tools.
• Support pipeline management and underwriting operations activities.
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings.
• Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis.
• Gain exposure to customer, broker, and partner relationships within the insurance industry.
