Job summary

Novacore is hiring an Underwriting Intern for its 2027 Summer Internship Program, focusing on Professional Liability and Specialty Insurance Programs. The internship runs May 17 through August 5, with mentorship, peer interaction, project work, executive visibility, volunteer opportunities, and networking events.

This hybrid internship requires 3 onsite days at the Oak Brook, IL office and 2 days work-from-home.

Responsibilities

• Fully assist team members as needed.

• Assist with policy issuance, binding, and billing.
• Review documentation & prepare files under Underwriting guidance.
• Follow up on open items and request additional information to finalize tasks.
• Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.

Underwriting Intern

We are currently seeking high-performing, eager college student interested in starting their career in Underwriting, majoring in Insurance Risk/Business Risk/Business to participate in Novacore's 2027 Summer Internship Program, supporting our PUA (Professional Liability) program Specialty Insurance Programs | Novacore

All internship opportunities are paid and offer mentorship, peer interaction, project work, executive visibility, volunteer opportunities, and networking events.

Our internship program will run from May 17th through August 5th.
