Berkley Human Services, a Berkley Company, is seeking an underwriter support professional in Minneapolis to assist the underwriting department with limited exposure accounts and to complete underwriting functions.

You will review submissions, process renewals, prepare proposals, and coordinate with agents and managers while maintaining records and reports. The role offers a base salary range and robust benefits as part of a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Above average mathematical skills.
• ISO Commercial Multi-line rating knowledge and experience.
• Insurance company experience.
• Strong PC and keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriting department through handling of limited exposure accounts and complete underwriting functions.
• Rate and issue assigned accounts and provide support to underwriters.
• Handle new and renewal accounts and review submission material.
• Review applications from agents and obtain missing information.
• Prepare proposals for agents and follow up on quotations.
• Maintain records and prepare required reports.
