Berkley Human Services (a Berkley Company) is seeking a skilled underwriter to manage relationships and develop business within the Human Services sector. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of multi-line underwriting experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85k—$125k along with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and a 401(k) plan. Remote work arrangements may be considered for qualified candidates outside a 50-mile radius of Minneapolis or Chicago.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of multi-line underwriting and marketing experience.
• Knowledge of insurance rating, structure, forms and coverages.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a profitable book of Human Services business.
• Evaluate and assess submitted applications for appetite acceptability.
• Negotiate final terms with producers leading to binding.
