Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Financial Analysis Advisor within Risk Management & Underwriting to turn complex healthcare and underwriting data into actionable insights. This hybrid role offers work across multiple U.S. locations, including Chattanooga, Philadelphia, Franklin, Bloomfield, and Scottsdale.

You will lead reporting initiatives, partner with stakeholders, and support data quality. Requirements include 4+ years in healthcare, underwriting knowledge preferred, advanced Excel with Pivot

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• Direct underwriting knowledge or experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VBA.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, SAS, or R.
• Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary business partner and subject matter expert for assigned reports, tools, and analytics.
• Analyze healthcare, underwriting, and operational data to identify trends and insights.
• Lead reporting initiatives requiring cross-team collaboration.
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Monitor data quality and validate completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate across the organization to improve reporting and analytics.
