Job summary

The Cigna Group, including Evernorth Health Services, seeks an Advisor to join the Integration & Automation team to deliver technical reporting, data analysis, and automation workflows supporting provider data quality and regulatory compliance.

The role blends development and business analysis, managing medium complexity projects across enterprise initiatives, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years creating programmatic solutions from large data sets.
• Strong SQL and relational data design experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, SSIS, SAS.
• Experience building custom UIs or internal tools for data capture or automation.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating with IT teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Able to deliver in ambiguous environments with multiple iterations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical liaison between business and IT, while also performing hands-on development work; hybrid of developer and business analyst.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex technical solutions, including custom user interfaces, automation tools, and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain processes that ingest, transform, reconcile, and consolidate data from multiple systems and vendor files.
• Automate complex reconciliation and matching processes for low-touch workflows.
• Refactor and modernize legacy reporting and automation solutions for performance and scalability across migrations.
• Work with complex data, understand upstream processes, data gaps, and system behaviors.
• Define data structures and upstream capture requirements with IT teams to ensure sustainable solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability across regulated environments with strong validation.
