Job summary

Highmark Inc. offers the Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship to provide students with hands-on experience in underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation within a healthcare and insurance environment.

As part of the Labor & Education Underwriting Team, interns will work with experienced underwriters on new and renewal business, pricing, reporting, and data analysis while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Full or part‑time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing and risk evaluation for new and renewal business.
• Support client reporting activities and analyze financial data.
• Participate in projects to enhance underwriting tools and processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives.
