Highmark Inc. offers the Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship to help students gain hands-on experience in underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation within a healthcare and insurance setting.

As a member of the Labor & Education Underwriting Team, interns will collaborate with senior underwriters on pricing, reporting, data analysis, and tool development, while developing professional skills through mentorship and project work.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Assist with pricing and risk evaluation for new and renewal business.
• Support client reporting activities.
• Analyze financial and business data.
• Participate in projects to enhance underwriting tools and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
