Job summary

Highmark Inc. Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship provides students with hands-on experience supporting underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation within a healthcare and insurance environment.

Interns will work with the Labor & Education Underwriting Team on new business and renewal underwriting, contributing to pricing, reporting, data analysis, and tool development while building professional skills.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing and risk evaluation for new and renewal business.
• Support client reporting activities and data analysis.
