Highmark Inc. invites students to join the Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship, gaining hands-on experience in underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation within healthcare and insurance.

Working with the Labor & Education Underwriting Team, interns assist with pricing and risk evaluation for new and renewal business, support client reporting, and participate in projects that enhance underwriting tools and processes.

Qualifikationen

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in planning assignments and resolving day-to-day issues.
• Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services for day-to-day objectives with guidance from senior staff.
• Undertake and participate in projects designed to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternative action proposals when requested by management.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs aligned with operating unit objectives.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
