Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs underwriting analysis and documentation to determine acceptability of risk within assigned authority for renewal and new business.
• Handles endorsements within delegated authority; refers outside authority with recommended action.
• Manages assigned renewal book; triages renewal applications and outlines changes.
• Acts as liaison within the branch and across CNA to resolve issues (billing, risk control, underwriting guidance).
• Documents files to ensure completeness, compliance, and quality.
• Executes pricing strategy and documents pricing rationale for underwriters.
• Completes quote proposals and negotiates with external partners within authority.
• Serves as first-line contact to producers/customers on account matters and identifies opportunities for up-sell or rounding.
• Assists in marketing products/services and makes field visits.
• Shares expertise on systems/workflows and mentors others.
• Keeps current on line of business strategy, state/territory issues, regulations and trends.
