Job summary

Arizona Public Media (AZPM) is seeking an Account Executive for its Underwriting Department to solicit and secure underwriting agreements for television, radio, and online platforms. You will build lasting relationships with businesses and supporters, manage accounts, and drive revenue.

The role requires negotiating rates, producing underwriting credits, and ensuring compliance with FCC guidelines while meeting revenue targets and collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public broadcasting and FCC guidelines.
• Understanding of advertising for TV, Radio, online.
• Familiarity with media marketing and new business development.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure underwriting/sponsorships for AZPM programs and platforms.
• Build and maintain relationships with business community and supporters.
• Develop revenue-generating accounts: prospect, sell, close, and service.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and manage underwriting credits and web ads.
• Monitor billing and collections to ensure timely payments.
• Meet monthly/quarterly revenue goals by platform.
• Collaborate with TV Creative Services on underwriting spots.
