Job summary

orionhiddencareers in Houston, Texas is seeking a Dive Tender to perform dive operations within a marine construction environment. You will coordinate with the Diving Supervisor, Dive Tenders and other Divers to ensure safe, efficient work.

Applicants must have at least 2 years of dive tending experience and completed commercial dive training from a certified dive school; be 18 or older, pass a physical, and be capable with diving equipment. Prior marine project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years dive tending experience with commercial dive training from a certified dive school.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass a physical examination.
• Capable of using and maintaining diving equipment and tools for depth and conditions of work.
• Prior background on marine related construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works as assigned by Diving Supervisor to ensure safe and successful completion of all diving operations.
• Performs topside and underwater tasks as directed by Diving Supervisor.
• Maintains and prepares diver-worn equipment and assists in maintenance of diving gear.
• Follows safety procedures and reports any issues to the Diving Supervisor.
