Job summary

Orion Hidden Careers seeks a Dive Tender to perform dive operations in a marine construction setting in Tampa, FL. You will ensure dives are planned, performed, and completed safely, coordinating with the Diving Supervisor and the dive team.

The role requires at least two years of dive tending experience and commercial dive training, plus strong communication skills. Excellent benefits are provided with this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Two years' dive tending experience and commercial dive training from a certified dive school.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a physical examination.
• Capable of using and maintaining diving equipment and related tools on marine construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Works as assigned by the Diving Supervisor to ensure safe and successful diving operations.
• Performs topside and underwater tasks as directed by the Diving Supervisor.
• Ensures diver-worn equipment is maintained, complete, and ready to use; assists in maintenance and repair.
