Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with five or more years of relevant USW/ASW operational/technical experience.
  • Analytical, operational, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Willing to travel (occasional 2-3 day trips or week long tests).
  • Active Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate CONOPs of Undersea Warfare (USW) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) platforms and sensors.
  • Provide problem definition, requirements and metrics development, system assessment, analysis of mission success, and documentation.
  • Work with analysis teams and systems authorities to evaluate measures of performance and measures of effectiveness for USW and ASW systems.
  • Evaluate factors such as system performance, logistic requirements, costs, operational impacts, and potential CONOPs, with results in reports and annotated briefs for DoW sponsors.
  • Interact with DoW and Navy staff to facilitate task execution and prioritization.
  • Brief sponsor or DoW command staff on insights and possible participation in field tests or sea trials.
