Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with five or more years of USW/ASW operational/technical experience.
  • Technically and analytically oriented with leadership ability in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical, operational, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel (occasional 2-3 day trips or week-long tests) and handle dynamic projects.
  • Active Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate CONOPs of Undersea Warfare (USW) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) platforms and sensors.
  • Provide problem definition, requirements and metrics development, system assessment, and documentation.
  • Work with analysis teams and systems authorities to evaluate measures of performance and effectiveness for USW/ASW systems.
  • Evaluate factors such as system performance, logistics requirements, costs, operational impacts, and potential CONOPs; report to DoW sponsors.
  • Interact with DoW/Navy staff to facilitate task execution and prioritization; brief sponsors on insights and participate in field tests or sea trials.
