Job summary

Leidos LLC seeks a Test and Integration Engineer to lead testing and validation for undersea systems, sensors, submariner telemetry, and ISR solutions supporting Navy missions. You’ll write and execute test plans, integrate complex systems, and perform field testing to ensure reliability and performance from prototype to deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Ocean), Computer Science, Physics, or Math.
• 2+ years of hands-on testing, integration, validation, and verification experience with software and integrated electro-mechanical systems including developing test procedures.
• Proficiency in test automation, data acquisition systems, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Write, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure system functionality, reliability, and compliance with requirements.
• Integrate systems and conduct hands-on testing: write, develop, and execute integration plans to bring complex systems together.
• Perform field and on-water based hands-on testing, validation, and verification of software and hardware systems, including integrated electro-mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and hardware teams to identify and resolve issues during testing phases.
• Automate Testing: Develop automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline validation processes.
• Analyze Results: Document and analyze test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations for system improvements.
