Job summary

STR’s Sensors Division seeks an Electrical Engineer with a strong interest in undersea robotics to design and implement electrical systems for next‑generation uncrewed vehicles and sensor payloads. You will handle board-level design, sensor integration, bring-up, testing, and support in lab and at sea, working with cross-functional teams including mechanical and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with analog/digital circuits design and debugging.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time control.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and document analog and digital circuitry for uncrewed undersea vehicles.
• Develop and lay out PCBs, including component selection and fabrication packages.
• Bring up new boards and modules; bench test and debug hardware issues.
• Interface sensors with vehicle processors and control systems.
• Collaborate with software for hardware-software interfaces and real-time operation.
• Support system-level testing in lab, pool, and at-sea environments.
