Job summary

STR Sensors Division seeks an Electrical Engineer focused on undersea robotics to design, develop, and implement electrical systems for uncrewed underwater vehicles and sensor payloads. You will lead board-level design, sensor integration, and C2 interfaces, working with multi-disciplinary teams in a lab and at-sea environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electronics experience, knowledge of analog/digital design, and exposure to embedded software. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with hands-on electronics experience.
Experience designing and testing analog and digital circuits, including board bring-up and debugging.
Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time control applications.
Experience integrating sensors and actuators into electronic systems.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and document analog and digital circuitry for uncrewed undersea vehicles and sensors.
Develop and lay out PCBs, including schematic capture and fabrication packages.
Bring up new boards, perform bench testing, and iterate designs based on results.
Interface onboard sensors with vehicle processors and control systems.
