Job summary

USIC is seeking a dedicated Locator to perform daytime, full-time field work locating underground utilities across multiple utility types. You will work with a company vehicle and advanced ticketing systems to ensure accurate mark-outs for excavators and property owners.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer) accurately and safely.
• Mark locations, complete required documentation, and photograph each locate.
